Alan Loughrey - Managing Director
Alan is Managing Director of BV Business Vision Ltd Alan commenced as
Partner buy in with the business trade name in April 2003 and merged own
consultancy business to incorporate BV Business Vision Ltd in September
2005 as Managing Director. Alan graduated in 1997 from GMIT Galway with
a Bachelor of Business Studies and is a Graduate member of the Marketing
Institute of Ireland. Alan is a qualified Certficate holder of Institute
of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers along with memebrship of the International
Business Brokers Association and The association of Professional Merger
and acquisation advisors.
Alan has worked in self employed basis since March 1999. Prior to establishing
BV Business Vision Ltd Alan worked as Consultant with his own consultancy
business called Exodos Consultants est. in March 1999, which specialised
in resale of accountancy software, training to changeover of euro . During
and prior to the changeover to euro alan acted as consultant on behalf
of government body forfas on euro changeover board along with many other
organisations including Fas, chamber of commerces nationwide and many
retail groups. In september 2005 alan merged exodos with Business Vision
and formed BV Business Vision Ltd. Alan has considerable network of contacts
and through his resources and experience he has the ability to screen
and source potential opportunities for clients. Alan now specialises in
acquisitions and mergers of SME's and corporate businesses mainly in distribution.,
service and manufacturing sector. Some clients he has acted on behalf
in sale of business include following Secure all security, Galway Free
Range eggs, Conservatory Centre , Ballycummin shopping Centre, Loughnane
Meats, Britton Contractors and also advised on Merger & acquisation following
Rocket Transport with Langan Couriers, Feale Valley Plant Hire Limerick
by Haven Plant Hire , Trionics cctv by Pioneer Security, Pitman Ballinasloe
